3 Babies... and my attempt at being a photographer...

The best thing about being in Rexburg is all the couples our age. We have so much fun where we live, being able to hang out with all of our neighbors.

In our 4 plex apartment, 3 of us had babies in December.
One had her boy on Dec. 2nd and then me and the other neighbor had ours on Dec 3rd.
All in the hospital at the same time! So fun!
So here are just a couple of pictures I took of these three "almost" 6 month olds.

I love this picture because Carter was the only one with a toy and Lilly and Kaitlyn were both trying to steal it from him. I love his face here, guess he is having to learn early about girls and just how high maintenance they really are.

Top of their cute little heads.

Lilly- I can't get over these beautiful blue eyes!

TrIp To UtAh!

Since Alma had Monday and Tuesday off from school we took a little trip to Utah, we mainly went so we could go apartment shopping for when we move to Provo at the end of July!
Alma got into BYUs Accounting Graduate Program!

We are super excited to start this new chapter in our life!
We left Sunday evening and had dinner with my sister Kacey and my brother Jared. It was so much fun to be around family for a bit. Then we had a video chat with my parents! Which was so much fun.

On Monday we went to the Petting Zoo at Thanksgiving Point. Kaitlyn loves being outside and loved looking at the animals. Our favorite were the baby goats! SOOOO cute!

Here are a few pictures of our trip!

Sitting Up!

This blog is all about Kaitlyn, I know. But she just keeps progressing and I keep posting about those progressions. She just hit her 5 month mark and she is sitting up awesome now and I can actually leave her alone on the floor and do chores without worrying about her falling over. She is so strong and I am so glad to see her grow and progress! She is so much fun! Way to go Kaitlyn for sitting up!

NeW cRiB!

Kaitlyn is growing so fast. She is getting better at being on her tummy and she rolls all the time. From back to tummy. Then she gets mad, and then I put her back on her back and then she flips right back to her tummy. She is so cute. She is always making happy noises! I love it.

In her new high chair!

New Crib!!!

nO pLaCe LiKe HoMe.....

Well we are back in Idaho, and absolutely loving being home. Our Apartment is wonderful, our ward is wonderful and we missed being here. It is so nice to be home and back into the swing of things.
Thanks again to my mom and dad for letting us spend the last 4 1/2 months with them. It was such a good experience and we are so grateful for all you have done! We miss you!

We just got a calling to be the 'Marriage and Family Relations' Teachers. We will be teaching every week to lots of couples in our ward. We are very excited about it and we both love to teach! Hopefully we will do alright at it. Considering we have 1 year and 9 months experience at it.

We are having so much fun being a little family. Kaitlyn brings so much joy into our lives. There is an amazing Joy that she brings into our family. We were just talking about how we feel like we are smiling much more than ever. Dont get me wrong, we were definitely happy before, but we catch ourselves smiling all the time. We keep talking about how we are totally living the life! We are so happy.

How could you not smile while hanging out with this little girl all day?

sEaTtLe TrIp!

We are finally home! Right after Kaitlyn was born, a week and a half, we moved to Texas for Almas Internship. Now we are back in our Apartment in Rexburg and I can't even begin to tell you how amazing it feels to be together as our little family in our own space! It was such a great experience in Texas but it sure does feel good to be home! Alma drove back from Texas to Idaho all by himself and since we didn't want to drive with Kaitlyn, we decided me and her should fly. Since i had to buy a ticket anyway, I figured why not see my Sister Kenna in Seattle on the way! It was so much fun to get to see her family and be able to spend some good quality time with them! Thanks again Kenna for an awesome week!

Here is Jayna and Lilly (Kennas girls) with Kaitlyn! Cousins!
Us riding a Ferry in Seattle!
They were being Silly! Love it!
Kaitlyn with The Smith Gang
So since Kaitlyn was born, less than 5 months ago, she has been on 6 planes.

From Salt Lake to Phoenix/ Phoenix to Houston/ Houston to Denver/ Denver to Seattle/ Seattle to Salt Lake/ Salt Lake to Idaho Falls.

WHEW~ That was a lot!

She has been in different 7 States!
Idaho/ Nevada/Utah/Arizona/Texas/Colorado/Washington

She is quite the traveler if I may say so myself. She did awesome on all of those plane rides except Seattle to Salt Lake. So I can't complain!

It sure is great to be home!

4 MoNtHs aLrEaDy?

Kaitlyn has been so much fun lately!
There are two things you can count on while being around her:

1. She has to have something in her mouth! ANYTHING! doesn't matter what... fingers... binki... toys... blankets... just has to have something in there. (I have a feeling I am going to be saying, "Kaitlyn, don't put that in your mouth!" a lot in the future).

2. She always has to be on the move. She hates staying still. Even in her chair she has to be moving a ton. Just wants to see what the world is all about, I guess!

We took Kaitlyn to the mall and got professional photos taken. Here is her afterwards in her dress and bow. A little bit of a close up, I know, but I just love that little face! ;)

(And of course, fingers in her mouth...)

Here she is with Grandma Chamberlain. We have had so much fun being here during Almas internship and I know Kaitlyn is going to miss Grandma and Grandpa Chamberlain, as well as them missing her! They have had so much fun together during these short months~

Here she is giggling! Tonight we were giving her a bath and she made this "mmmmm" noise and so Alma copied her and she just kept giggling when he did it.

She is so much fun to have in our lives~ She just has such a love for life that rubs off on anyone that is around her!
