I got some new frosting tips for Christmas and so I was trying them out on my fingers… then I got an idea and kept going with it and created this little Cowboy. He did a little dance for us.

I love that every now and again we make it to the Mall and play at their Playground and then share a mall pretzel with just with me and my girls. It gets pretty hot here in the summer so we might be coming to visit a few more times through the next months, but it is a fun change!
I love that our family loves music. I love to sing, Alma is great at numerous things, playing instruments and singing, and I love that my girls are always singing. We are just a house full of music and I SURE DO LOVE IT.
I keep hoping that my girls will sing with me. No matter how old. Maybe we could start a family band?
We had a great Easter with our family. It was fun to have Whitney walking so she got into it this year. I love this Holiday and the chance we have to rejoice in Christ and to remember Him.
Well my Whitney has hit the one year mark and all the adorable things that go with it. She is getting into everything, exploring all things around and loving everything that she can see, touch or taste. It is such a blast to have her so mobile. On her birthday, it was crazy because it was like she knew she was one and that is was time to start walking. She is talking more and more and saying things like :

Hi-
Hey-
She signs “more” and “milk” with I think is adorable and I love how much she understands. I feel like I can talk to her and she totally understand. What a fun little girl we have on our hands!
This photos were taken the day after Whitneys 1st Birthday. It was her birthday party at my Moms house. Super Yummy!
A couple weeks ago, Kate and I (while Whitney was sleeping) put our hair in pigtails and turned up the radio and danced the day away. It was so much fun! I have such sweet memories of dancing with my mom in our living room. I love this little girl so much!
My girls love to watch the Garbage Man come. We open the garage and watch them come. They always make sure to wave to us too! It is a fun little tradition that we get to do twice a week.
We bought a wheelbarrow so that we can do lots of yard work in our backyard. We are excited to now have grass-we just laid it this last Thursday and then we will work on out patio.
A few Sundays ago, Alma gave the girls a ride in the wheelbarrow. It was super cute and of course I took lots of photos.
This
last one to me looks like she is jumping off the roof! Crazy girl!We are finally finishing up our backyard. We wanted to do it sooner but then the drought last year came and we didn’t want to put Sod in when it had a chance of not making it. So we waiting till this spring to put it in. Our backyard was pretty wild-like. And it was time to do something with it. Here are the pictures of it before:
Then Alma cut it down pretty short to get it ready to till.
Then he tilled it.
Then we got the Sod and laid it down. The girls were there to help us. Alma and I did it together and we did pretty well I think for the two of us! Kaitlyn wanted to help a ton, and Whitney wanted to eat dirt. But it was a lot of family fun.
We left some space to put down a patio. I can’t wait to have the whole backyard done! It will be so much better to have a backyard that we can use.
