3 kids

 

So 3 kids hasn’t been too bad. I didn’t put Kaitlyn in a Preschool or anything this year. I decided to keep her home with me. We play laugh and learn and also have those hard moments of sadness and fighting. But we are doing great.

Some days are easier than others but even the hard days aren’t too bad. I just wish Brad would sleep better at night. We are getting there though.

Brad is so great at moving around and being all over the place. He started crawling after he turned 6 months. He is such a physical little guy. Seems to have always been that way. I love all that he brings to our family. So smiley and happy.

 

 

 

The girls are having a blast together. They play together all day long and come up with such cute things to do. I know Whitney is going to miss Kaitlyn like crazy next year when she is in all day Kindergarten. We will miss her deeply and all the fun ideas she comes up with. 

   

I love that Brad is old enough to play with them! So much fun seeing them all Play together.

 

Halloween carvings

 

Holidays are so much more fun with kids. We had them carve pumpkins! They were so cute about it.

   

Alma and I are the ones that ended up carving them but they scraped out all the guts for us!

 

Merry Go Round

 

We took the kids photos at the mall and when we were done we said they could ride the horses! Made them behave and give us some great pictures!

 

I just love her! She stayed up late one night and watched the World Series Game!

Halloween Day

This is super late! I have been so crazy with who knows what? Three kids? I feel like everything is under control in the house and 3 kids but the one thing that has been leacking is my blog. I guess that is ok… at least I am still taking pictures.

This last halloween the girls played out in the rain in their jammies! It was in the 70s still.

 

   

 

Then all 3 kids napped! ALL 3! This has not happened and probably wont happen again. But it was great. I did crafts! It was so great!

My new Picnic Table

 

I have always wanted a toddler or kid sized table and one Saturday Alma was going to be gone all day so I decided to do something fun with my day and go to my dads and attempted to make a picnic table with my dad and his awesome experience and tools.
It was a great Saturday.

Here are all the pieces of wood before we started.

Then I made the table top 

 

Then cut and put the legs on

  

Then added the bench seats.

It was so much fun. I really want to start getting tools to make more things now! It was so much fun to make and even more awesome to know that I did it instead of buying it.

Our neighbors had a picnic table and that is what made us want to make it like theirs. So here we are eating Pizza on a Friday night using our new table!

Happy Halloween

 

This year we had two 50’s people two pirates and a cow. It was a great Halloween.

Bradley

Well here we are 5 1/2 almost 6 months since we have had Brad. He is such a sweet boy. Here are some things about him.

He is so smiley! He is just a happy baby. I feel so very blessed to have his happy nature in our home. He loves to smile and cries when he is hungry and tired. Seriously, such an easy going baby who just loves the world around him.

    

He is nursing, every now and again I will give him a bottle. Sometimes when I know I will be out and I just don’t have the chance to feed him. Like when we went trick or treating. It is nice that he can take a bottle. Whitney wouldn’t and I felt like I couldn’t go anywhere. It is nice to feel like he is taken care of when I am not around.

     

He is super active. He loves to move. Roll. And he is trying really hard to crawl. He moves his arms up and down a lot. Sometimes it hits me in the face but he is just excited about something.

Sleep. Well, he is not the best at sleeping. We have had to sleep train him since we got home from vacation. He is doing about what he should be. Down by 7pm up at 1am and 5am and then up for the day at 7:30am, lately he has added a new feeding at 11pm. I am trying to not go to him but he always falls back asleep so quickly and sleeps for while to it is hard to not go to him. When he does that he is up at 11pm 4am and then 7am. Still not horrible. Those nights it feels like he is only up once at 4am.

   

I don’t mind getting up with him for now. But sometime in the next couple months I will need to stop.

He is so giggly and he just loves his sisters. He is always watching them.

To me he just seems like he has the sweetest heart. He is melting my heart every day.

He is just a calm loving happy guy. I love his rolls and his smile! Can’t believe he belongs to Alma and I. I feel so blessed. We looked at some of Almas baby pictures and I see a lot of Alma in Brad. I love having a boy! I even love dressing him up! 

    

He reminds me a lot of Kaitlyn. They look alike to me and they were both so active and wanting to go. It will be so much fun to see the person that he becomes and the things that he will love and do! We love you Brad!
