Kaitlyn

As Kaitlyn continues to grow we are having more and more fun with her and being able to do more things. Like Wii Bowling! She did pretty great! And I loved her form!

Kaitlyn and Whitney have so much fun together. She is such a great sister. Whitney was trying to get a lick of Kaitlyns ice cream cone and finally Kaitlyn shared. Such a sweet heart.

A sweet lady in my ward offered her talents to teach dance to people in the area for free this summer. This is Kaitlyn all dressed up and ready to go! She loves it and loves to dance!

Family time

 

I just adore this family of mine. I am so grateful for everything that I have. Each moment that we have I try so hard to cherish. I know that they will all grow up and need to do their own things on the weekends and be busy with their own life soon! Family time is so important.

Last week we went to the Library to turn in our summer reading charts and got a prize and then we rode the free Trolley that they have available. We were the only ones on it for the whole 20 min. ride~ It was so much fun!

It is hot here in Texas and so we are filling our days up best we can. The girls worked out with me one day. And coloring and Playdough is always on the list!

4th of July

It was a great 4th of July this year. It was hot. So we went swimming with my parents in the morning. It was such a fun pool. I wish I got photos of it. They had an awesome slide and playground and Kaitlyn got so brave going under the water without plugging her nose. Brad slept the ENTIRE way there and while we were there and all the way home. Probably like 5 hours. Such a good sport going places, especially in the heat.

Then we had a BBQ at our place with some close friends. It was a great time. Then we set off some fireworks.

Kaitlyn was scared to hold the crazy sprinklers that Alma bought.  She did the more calm ones but Alma got some that changed colors and got pretty hot. Whitney was no scared at all. She never dropped it either. Such a brave girl.

    

Then we hurried and drove to see the fireworks in our town and got there just in time to find a spot to park (even though it was crazy crowded) and we found a big grassy area that we could sit in and ate twizzlers and watched a HUGE firework show. It was so close and so big you could feel it in your chest.

Brad did so great during the show. No crying.

   

   

The 4th of July is my favorite holiday. No commercial gifts to have to buy for everyone you know. Just good food, good family and friend moments and the summer nights.

Bradleys Blessing Day

Today was Bradley Lymans Baby Blessing.

It was a wonderful day. Alma gave the most beautiful Baby Blessing. I am so grateful for him and the Priesthood that he holds so he can bless our home.
There were 4 baby blessings today in our ward. One family had twin boys! So much fun to see so many babies being born. Lots of Baby boys in our area right now.

My Mom made Brads Blessing outfit. She did a great job and I am so grateful for her time for putting it together!

Who does Brad look more like?

 

It is so fun to look back on our kids baby photos and remember what they looked like at this age. I was curious who he looked more like. I Honestly, I see both in Brad. I feel like he is just a good mix of both of the girls. Or of me and Alma I should say.

Anyway, I put their pictures right next to each other so that I could see them side by side.
